   Step-by-step instructions :

You might archive a drawing so that you can later look at the archived drawing ( Open Archived Drawing ) in order to see how it is different from your current drawing, and thus evaluate revision changes.

1 . Before beginning:

  • In the Drawing Editor , Open the member detail, 2D erection view or submaterial that you want to archive.
  • If you make changes to that drawing, Save your changes if you want those changes to be included in the archived drawing.

2 . Invoke Archive Current Drawing as follows:

Method 1 : Click the Archive Current Drawing icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' File ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).

Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose File > Archive Current Drawing .

Method 3, 4 or 5 : Archive Current Drawing can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .

3 . Archive Current Drawing archives the last-saved version of your current drawing.
